Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to The Story Concert. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and, where applicable, your purchase or booking of services offered by The Story Concert. By using this website, submitting a booking, or purchasing services from The Story Concert, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About The Story Concert

The Story Concert provides unique concert experiences that combine live musical performance, storytelling, and conversation.

References in these Terms & Conditions to “The Story Concert,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the business providing the services offered through this website.

2. Concert Bookings

A Story Concert booking is not considered confirmed until the required booking information and payment have been received.

Specific concert details, including date, time, location, travel fees, and any additional arrangements must be agreed upon by email prior to booking. Important: submitting payment without prior confirmation does not guarantee availability or constitute a confirmed booking, and may be declined and refunded (minus a small fee to cover administrative costs).

3. Host Responsibilities

The host is responsible for:

  • Inviting and communicating with guests;

  • Providing an appropriate indoor space for the concert;

  • Providing reasonable access to the performance location before the scheduled start time for arrival and setup; and

  • Handling any food, beverages, refreshments, or other hospitality the host chooses to provide.

The host is also responsible for providing a reasonably safe environment for the performer, equipment, and guests.

Any venue requirements or unusual circumstances that could materially affect the performance should be communicated to The Story Concert in advance.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled concert are eligible for a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled concert are nonrefundable.

Any refund due under this policy will be returned through the original payment method when reasonably possible.

In the rare event that The Story Concert needs to cancel a scheduled concert, the host may choose either:

  • To reschedule the concert if a mutually agreeable date can be found; or

  • To receive a full refund for the cancelled concert.

The Story Concert will make reasonable efforts to notify the host promptly if a cancellation becomes necessary.

5. Recording

Unless permission is provided in advance, guests and hosts may not make or distribute audio or video recordings of a Story Concert.
